It Started with Cities in Dust - I just rlly liek Siouxsie's voice mixed with this nutty 80's vid. Then I remembered Lisa Miskovsky's single for the game "Mirror's Edge" (which I've never played), Still Alive, which is much different. She's a Swede, hence the ethereal, I suppose. All of a sudden, I couldn't help myself but amalgamate to this femmy bloc Candy Castles by Glass Candy. Along with other female vocalists, including The Knife and Goldfrapp, Glass Candy makes a brand of music I like to call "Neo-Disco Miami House". Most of the songs from the Scarface Soundtrack, notably Debby Harry's "Rush Rush (to the Yeo)" just evoke certain similarities. Enough.Saturday, June 20, 2009
3 (OK 4) Great Female Vocalists
